On yet another sensationalist hypnosis website designed to part suckers from their hard earned cash with dubious special powers they hope to sell, I found the following claim: "There is a word that is commonly used in almost everyone you meet, that if you simply utter this word, will account for a significantly higher conversion of compliance, and it works like magic." The grammatical errors are theirs. They add: "Make anyone agree with what you say." Gosh, I know this magic word of theirs too, my mother taught it to me, that word is “please”. Am I right? Am I?
